The name of this site The-Sealing was inspired by a verse from the Bible in Ephesians chapter four:
“And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.” Eph. 4:30
The aspect of a sealing and a sign of distinction is essential for God’s people to understand in the light of the above verse along with Exodus 31:13,17; Ezekiel 20:12 and Revelation 13 etc., as we and the world enter a New World Order (NWO).
Most Christians believe they are already sealed by the Holy Spirit when they heard the truth of the Gospel and responded as given in Ephesians 1:13. But Ephesians 4:30 counsels believers not to grieve the Holy Spirit. The most pointed way for a believer to grieve the Holy Spirit is to willfully disobey what God said in His written Word – the Scriptures (Hebrew Tanakh).
The majority of believers in the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob fail to recognize the relationship between Israel and the Church. This manifests itself as an identity crisis for Christians especially, as radical Islam asserts itself throughout the world as the only true religion. In this website you will gain a big picture understanding of the origins of the three main monotheistic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. You will see the time/distance relationship of when these three religions began and progressed, as we trace their timelines through history. You will also gain a clear understanding of the difference between Hebrew cyclical thinking, and Greek/Islamic thinking as applied to the timeline of history.
My intent is to encourage those who believe God is leading them personally, with hope and courage knowing that it is not us, but God who is in control. He told us in the Bible what will be at the time when people would “run to and fro,” at the time when knowledge would increase, and at the very time when:
” . . . there will be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; “Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near.” Luke 21:25-28
I hope you will find the work I have done over the past 25 years useful as I have attempted to understand, and present the major events of history in the form of chronological time-lines from a Judeo/Christian, Hebrew Roots perspective. The entire line of thought in this website stems from an understanding of a chronological sequence of history, and is based on a simple 7,000 year, graphically accurate representation of major events which set the stage for today’s world.
Graphical accuracy gives a time-distance relationship from the simple to the complex, and shows the sequence and time involved for historical events to occur. This gives an awareness of history that is seldom understood by even the highly educated.
The time-line diagrams in this site represent a historical template in which you can place your own knowledge of history into a chronological framework. I am hoping the saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” will also apply to this study and give you a more complete understanding of the relationship between the Bible, history, and the secular world in which we live and work.
