I believe God has allotted the correct amount of time to pass for man to get smart enough to learn that everything we see in our universe is so complex at every level that there has to be an intelligent designer. Nothing of practical value happens by accident and information is lost through mutations, not gained. Our biggest challenge is to make sense of our own existence – why are we, as individuals, here. What is our purpose?
Background
Why a 7,000 Year Earth’s History Model
In 1980, while attending Rutgers University and enrolled in the Electrical Engineering program, I learned that the direction the world was heading was terrible wrong and on a path to world conflict. Although, at the time I was entertaining the thought of changing my major to nuclear physics and minoring in electrical engineering and electro-chemistry, what I learned off campus at a seminar on world events changed my thinking. I withdrew from Rutgers and returned to the computer company I previously worked for.
While at Interdata/Perkin-Elmer Data Systems/Concurrent computer Corp., I had the need to learn the machine level IBM 360/370 instruction set. Since I began studying history anyway, in my spare time, in order to learn the computer language, I wrote an assembly language program to print a time-line chart on 17 inch fanfold paper lengthwise in landscape orientation. The program printed a chronological time-line where each division represented one year and printed the major historical event for that particular year that I entered into my historical database.

Significance of Time
The historical events database spanned 6,000 years from 4,000 B.C.E. to 2,000 C.E. and required over 75 feet of paper to cover that time period. What I visually saw from the printout was grouping of events and patterns which helped me to understand history from a chronological time/distance relationship. I saw how long it took for events to transpire which inspired me to dig deeper into history to see why.
Considering back in the early 1980’s there were no Personal or Apple computers, no Microsoft Windows, OS 10, or Unix operating systems, no laser or ink jet printers, no internet or cell phones, etc; it was an impossible challenge to compress the 75 foot chart into a manageable size to share with others. This fact alone impresses me personally how fast technology has developed into what we take for granted today.
The time it takes for events to take place today are happening literally at the speed of light when we consider communicating with lasers over fiber optic networks. Technology is driving the human race faster and faster as new machines are developed, and as a result humans are suffering from information overload and incapable of assimilating the vast amounts of information that are coming at us each day.
Basis for Time-line Format
In spite of the fact that we are overloaded with information, it is still necessary to communicate. Today current technology is required to communicate information in very difficult and complex subject areas. This includes not only technical material, but history as well. The amount of information at our fingertips today is staggering. The challenge is to be able to understand the significance of history as it relates to us personally.
As simple as my original concept was to present time graphically, as technology advanced I converted the chart format to Microsoft Word. It is my intent to keep things as simple and accessible as possible.
Figure 2 and 3 below provides the basis for developing a 7,000 Year Earth’s History Model in order to present biblical history. The magnitude of the numbers required for the theory of evolution to even seem plausible is incomprehensible to the average person. You can see for your self in The Universe pdf document. Figure 1 is a diagram of the evolutionary time scales. The Quaternary period is where the human species is said to appear. You will notice that it is the shortest time period in which all recorded history fits into the very last 7000 years. This is a key point and the basis for this study format!

Each page as shown in Fig. 3 below represents a time scale grid of 560,000 years per page. According to the evolutionary model of the origin of the universe, the “Big Bang” is placed between 11 to 20 Billion years ago (give or take a couple of billion years).
Note: You may notice that evolutionists treat time with the same disregard as politicians treat tax payer dollars. The only difference is that the dollar scale for our national debt is in the Trillions not Billions. 🙂
Preceding the actual printed page of Fig. 3 with 35,714 pages (placed end-to-end) will represent the relationship between time and distance back to the “big bang” point of origin of the universe. If actually printed and laid out, it would stretch 6.2 miles, while 7,000 years would equal 1/8 of an inch in length by contrast. It takes tremendous “faith” to believe all we see and know about the universe today happened by chance over billions of years.

If you place the pages of Fig. 3 end-to-end as shown in Fig. 4, it will take 8,036 pages to go back in time to the origin of the earth (4.5 billion yrs. / 560,000); 6,071 pages (3.4 billion yrs.) to first one-celled organisms in the Precambrian Era; 804 pages (450 million yrs.) to marine life and fish; 625 pages (350 million yrs.) to amphibians; 447 pages (250 million yrs.) to reptiles and coal-forming swamps all in the Paleo Era; 268 pages (150 million yrs.) to birds and mammals; 116 pages (65 million yrs.) to horses and grasses all in the Mesozoic Era; and 6 pages (3 million yrs.) to man in the Cenozoic Era – the absolute smallest time period shown above as a thick red line.

Figure 3 above also shows the basic 7,000 year time-line used in all the chronological charts in this website. Discussion on the theory of evolution will appear again on the 1800’s Churches and Beginning of Evolutionary Theory diagram in the Judeo/Christian Path through History study.
The Universe.pdf document reveals the evolutionist view of the origin of the Universe. Decide for yourself which view makes more sense, the Evolutionary paradigm or the Intelligent Design/Creative model for the origin of the universe. Since both views are theories which cannot be “proved,” individuals can only base their belief on the best evidence available, and if honest will always seek truth. I propose the evolutionary model without an intelligent creator makes no sense. It is merely a religious belief containing contradictory theories.

Why should we know such things?
Contrasting a 7,000 Earth’s History Model vs. an Evolutionary Model for the origin of the Universe is an undertaking well beyond my knowledge or capability. As evolutionary scientists continue to search for the holy grail of a possible Unified explanation for the Universe, us mere mortals must deal with the realities and issues of our lives in the space and time where we live.
The Bible gives a pointed warning regarding knowledge.

God is revealing truth today and restoring biblical knowledge to his people. But we individually have a responsibility to:

By following a timeline grid for earth’s recorded history you can place the events of history into a contextual frame work to better understand where we as a human race came from and how we got to where we are today. Knowledge is power, and the more we understand the better decisions we can make to hopefully help correct some of the unnecessary problems that currently exist. And those who believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob need to to rise to a higher calling and be sealed for the day of redemption when the Judeo/Christian Messiah comes to end the sin, sickness, and suffering that exist in our world.
I hope you will find the work I have done over the past 30 years useful as I have attempted to understand and present the major events of history in the form of chronological timelines from a Judeo/Christian Hebrew Roots perspective. The entire line of thought of this website stems from an accurate understanding of the chronological sequence of history, and is based on a simple 7,000 year, graphically accurate pictorial representation of major events which set the stage for today’s world. Graphical accuracy gives a time-distance relationship from the simple to complex, and shows the sequence and time involved for historical events to occur. This gives an awareness of history that is seldom understood by even the highly educated.
The time-line diagrams in this site represent a historical template in which you can place your own knowledge of history into a chronological framework. I am hoping the saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” will apply to this study also, and give you a more complete understanding of the relationship between the Bible, history, and the secular world in which we live and work.
